Basic Sun Protection

·                 Limit Exposure during midday hours since most UV, 60%, is received between 10 am and 2pm daily

·                 Seek shade — it can reduce UV by 50% or more

·                 Wear protective clothings: broad-brimmed hat to protect the eyes, face and neck

·                 Protect the eyes with wrap-around-design sunglasses or sunglasses with side panels and that block 99~100% of UV rays

·                 Always use broad-spectrum, (SPF)15+ sunscreen when outside and reapply liberally since sweat can remove sunscreen.

·                 Protect babies and young children.

·                 Avoid tanning beds.

·                 Special Care: People with different skin types reacts to UV radiation differently. Fair-skinned people e.g. children

and babies may need extra protections. So apply protective measures according to your needs.”
